Registration

Fully catered accommodation has now closed. If you missed out you can still camp for the weekend or come for the day. All the information you need can be found on the Registration Form.

• Registration will allow you to attend all the events of the convention. It helps to pay for a keynote speaker, worship band, elective speakers, venue bookings, equipment hire and other general running costs.  It does not cover accommodation costs.
• To stay at the Mount Tamborine Convention Centre for the entire weekend of Recharge 2008 you will need to pay two fees: 1- the registration fee and 2- a fee for camping, or a fee for accommodation at a camp centre.  The total amount for accommodation depends on which venue you stay at.
• Early Bird Registration payments must be received by 30 July 2008 to secure the discounted price.
• Registrations are not taken over the phone, and cannot be faxed.
• Register early for Recharge 2008 as accommodation places are limited (particularly important for groups)!
• Day visitors can pre-pay using the Registration Form, or pay and register on the weekend.

• Camping – camp onsite close to the main auditorium and the Recharge Café, self-catered (or bring money to eat at the Recharge Café), hot showers and toilets provided.
  
• Camp Tamborine – cabin style rooms with shared amenities, fully catered.
  
• CMS – cabin style rooms with central amenities block, fully catered.
  
• WEC – ensuited cabins, fully catered.
  
• Tamborine Lodge – ensuited, 2-bedroomed ‘motel style’ units, fully catered.

Group Bookings

Thinking of bringing a group? The Recharge Youth and Young Adult Convention exists to serve the local church by enabling groups to stay and enjoy the convention together. We encourage you to use Recharge as your youth group camp - all the work involved in organising a venue, speaker, food and accommodation is done for you! Your group can stay and eat together in the same venue and attend the programme together. You may even run your own activities if you wish, as no part of the programme is compulsory!

If you're bringing a group, the registration process is essentially the same as registering as an individual, you just need to list the same accommodation preferences so you all stay in the same spot. We've put together the following forms and lists to assist you in planning for and organising your group members.

Each individual person attending Recharge 2008 needs to fill in a Registration Form. Group leaders can confirm registration by collecting and posting the individual Registration Forms and registration fee payments with the Group Registration Form. Once your group registration has been received, we will look for vacancies at the accommodation centres you list as your first preferences. The group leader will then be contacted to confirm your group's accommodation location. You will also be provided with details on how to collect money and pay for the accommodation fees for your group.
